Dat is de grondslag voor de Rotterdamse band Dragonfruit. De groep jonge Rotterdammers
trekt al tijden (internationale) aandacht met hun mix van KAYTRA-esque club-bangers,
Dilla-like beats en dromerige vocalen à la Mahalia, dus op 8 oktober hebben ze hun
langverwachte debuutalbum ‘’Gears of the Giant Machine’’ uitgebracht! En dat vraagt
natuurlijk om een feestje!
Dragonfruit is een van de best kept secrets van Nederlandse bodem. Met songs als ‘’Apples’
en ‘’Wasted’’ speelde de band zich in het vizier van (inter)nationale radio en pers. Zo heeft
de band inmiddels al meer dan een miljoen Spotify streams op de teller staan en kreeg
Dragonfruit aandacht van o.a. 3FM, Sublime en grote internationale muziekblogs als
